Policies

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:

A valid credit card or debit card is required to guarantee and pay for your reservation. There will be a $50 cancellation fee for any event canceled after your $100 deposit is received.  If your event needs to be rescheduled, we will make every effort to postpone your event, with no penalty, to another date should it be necessary.

 

TIPPING:

We are a small family-owned business.  Tipping is not required.  But if you feel that our staff has done an amazing job, tipping is highly appreciated.

 

PRIVACY POLICY:

Gateway Laser Tag is committed to protecting your privacy and will never sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

 

TRAVEL SURCHARGE:

We primarily service areas within 25 miles from our Wareham, Massachusetts (02571).   We are dedicated to making your event memorable and will travel beyond that service area.  However, a fuel surcharge fee will be applicable.  See below for applicable surcharge.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:

Gateway Laser Tag equipment is able to be used in some inclement weather.  It does not need to be bright and sunny out, but the equipment cannot be used in certain weather conditions.  In the event of weather that we determine will not be suitable for our equipment, we will unfortunately have to cancel or reschedule your event.

 

SUPERVISED CHILDREN:

Gateway Laser Tag does require a parent or responsible adult to be present inside or just outside of the trailer at all times. Guests under the age of 16 require a parent or guardian to be on the property and in contact of the game coach should a need arise.

 

ALCOHOL/DRUGS

We enjoy a good drink at a party as much as anyone else.  However, we do reserve the right to refuse the use of our equipment to anyone that we determine to be intoxicated.  Further, we reserve the right to cancel or cut short any event that we determine will be detrimental to our equipment or staff.  Drug use of any kind will not be tolerated.  Any observed use of illegal narcotics or legal narcotics used in an illegal manner will result in the termination of the party immediately, and the property authorities will be contacted. 

 

DAMAGE/INJURIES:

Gateway Laser Tag or any of its staff is not responsible for any damage to property.  This includes both above-ground and below-ground property/equipment damage. Gateway Laser Tag reserves the right to charge the client’s credit card for damages to our equipment resulting from the careless or willful damage of same by client’s guests. Gateway Laser Tag or its staff assume no responsibility for any injuries sustained on the clients property or their designated location. All liability for damages or injuries is the sole responsibility of the client and/or host.

 

PICTURES:

Gateway Laser Tag staff may take photographs of your event to use for our social media pages.  If you do not want our staff to take photos of your event, please let us know ahead of time. 

 

OUR VEHICLE:

Gateway Laser Tag has a “mobile armory” trailer that contains all of the equipment that we use for your event.  We do require a parking area for this vehicle.  The vehicle does not have to be used during your event, just for transportation.  We will contact you ahead of time to make any particular event parking arrangements.

surcharges

Mileage Surcharges:​

Up to 25 miles = Included in standard fee.

25 miles to 50 miles = $50 additional surcharge.

50 miles to 75 miles = $75 additional surcharge.

75 miles to 100 miles = $100 Surcharge based on mileage.

100 miles or more = Price is dependent on mileage.

Time Surcharges:

Events after 9pm = 20% added to the event charge.

​

Large groups:

Groups of 50 - 100 = 20% added event charge.

Groups of 100 - 150 = 30% added to the event charge.

Groups of 150 or more = 40% added to the event charge.
